Or-Ga-NIZED!

I'm not going to share all the pictures of the disasterous 3rd stall garage excpect this one....

We FINALLY found an affordable company to install cabinets in the garage to help decompress our clutter and craziness....

It may not look like a total huge transformation, but trust me it was!!!! They are very few things left on the floor, vs before EVERYTHING was out.

We went with black...not my first choice, but Brett liked it. I'm sooo happy to finally have extra room for storage.

The Royal Wedding.....

I'm a sucker for a good romance story....so it was no surprise I had requested time off when I heard about the engagement of Prince William to Kate Middleton. My original plan was to get up at 1 am and watch is live...but I opted to have a girls night with some friends the night prior. I'm glad I made that choice to go out and have Martini's at Seville Country Club...SO. MUCH. FUN! I had a blast catching up. Needless to say, I wasn't in any condition to stay up at 1 am to watch the wedding. A few cocktails after working the night prior and not having slept...I was OUT the minute my head hit the pillow. Thank god for DVR. I got up a few hours later to start watching. By the time the wedding ceremony came on my girls were up and we had breakfast together taking it in.... I am so glad I waited to watch because it was a moment and memory that I wanted to share with my girls. Of course I have a better chance that Brooklyn will remember more then Alexis, but I documented it on film.

Brooklyn was really into watching the Princess...and then kept pointing out My wedding picture and saying I was a princess and indeed she wanted to be one too! I'll cherish that moment...FOREVER!

Happy Easter!!! ( a week ago....)

We are very lucky at our house....not only does the Easter Bunny pay us a visit, but Memaw and Pepaw Bunny send some easter goodies as well.

Easter Morning was filled with lots of sugar......Apparently the Easter bunny was quite generous with the skittles and jelly beans....

The girls also scored some loaded Easter baskets....

Just another day....

Dancing with MY Star

In an effort to make the transition to preschool to Fall an easy one we have opted to enroll Brooklyn in weekly Dance lessons. Since we have not had to use day care in which we drop the girls off anywhere and instead just had our own in home child care help my biggest concern was then having the crying traumatized child when we did finally drop her off at anywhere, especially preschool. SO i figured we sign her up for dance lessons...thinking this would help with the transition. I got her a new leotard and had her dress up in it a few days before to get her psyched up for the class. I totally thought Brooklyn would be crying and looking for me when we dropped her off. I prepped and prepped her for weeks about going to dance school by herself and that she'd make new friends. So what does she do... I drop her off at Dance school and she goes right up to the first girl she meets and say "I Gooklin, you be my friend!" turned away from me and never looked back! It was me that walked into the waiting room shedding the tears....laugh away I know I'm being ridiculous! But I just had to have that moment. Apparently in the Fall I'm the one that will need the emotional support the first day of school. Things got better because for the next 45 mins I watch on their TV monitors my little dancing queen have a blast with all her new friends. I was even that Mom that took a little video of the TV monitor to later share with Daddy and of course our Blog....

The dance class we signed her up for was a intro to Ballet Jazz and Tumbling, hence the somersaults. I still can't get over how quickly your babies grow....

Extreme Makeover....Brooklyn edition

Brooklyn's room finally got the makeover it needed. After a successful transition to her VERY big girl bed we finally found bedding we all liked and bedding that didn't make me scowl everytime I walked in...

We were hoping to keep the Green walls and although I don't normally pick Pink when I have a choice, I think I really just fell in love with how the Pink popped with the Black furniture and Green walls.

I love how wonderful her crib transitioned to a big girl bed. I am glad we made the choice to buy the 4 in 1 crib. Thankfully Brooklyn didn't teeth on her crib rails and the bed is in great if not perfect condition.

I kept the original letters from her nursery and sprayed painted them black and added green Ribbon.

Added a few other hot pink touches

and we have a very happy toddler.
