Brooklyn turns 4!!!!!

Yesterday was the day of Brooklyn's 4th birthday. Even though her birthday was celebrated a few days ago with a big party, we still had a fun day planned. The "Birthday Fairy" (we have fairies for all sorts of reasons and events...like the Toy Fairy who comes and collects all toys not put away in the proper place to give to needy kids ...They are all employed by Santa ...) made an appearance and decorated the house the morning of her birthday.

We opened up more presents....

Played with the balloons

The afternoon was spent doing what Brooklyn requested.  She wanted a smoothie, rode her new scooter around...played with all her new toys, went swimming with her friend Amaya where she and her sister were finally able to show Amaya that they both know how to swim without floaties.  Finally we wrapped up the day with dinner at Brooklyn's choice of establishment.  She chose the "Star" resturant which I finally figured out she meant San Tan Flat, whose emblem and sign has a Big Star on it.

What a Great day to celebrate our little girl turning 4!!!!

Happy Birthday "Bow-Kwan" Spoken in Sheasus terms.

Addendum: Napa Valley

I wanted to share more pictures from our fabulous trip to the Wine country...Some are just too priceless not to share.  Thank you Summer and Becky for capturing these pictures!

 And I am Back!
(Doesn't he looked much happier when I am in the pictture?!)

Me with pout face when I was given a plate missing my filet and lobster tail.
 Common theme for the weekend

The next day we did our private wine tours and tasting.  Our first stop Truchard

The inspiration for their label

Although I bet they'd get more sales with this label.....
just sayin'

Sequoia Groves was our 3rd stop

Being as it was our 3rd...their were moments like this....

and converstions about how to transport the cases of wine back home...just wish we could have recalled the converstaion when we were packing 2 days later....

Of course there was more of this....

Our last stop...

Surrounded by beautiful scenery

Incerdible people....

and my Most FAVORITE person...

I was dancing in Heaven!

The next day the guys golfed and the girls opted to take our own Napa Valley adventures.....

We visited Catillo di Amarose. A replica middle aged castler turned winery, also featured in an episode of the Bachelor...there's a fun fact for ya!

The castle feautured displays of artifacts from the middle ages....I was amused byt eh truture chair with nails.

Heather fancied his sword....

We all enjoyed the wine afterwards :)

We treated ourseleves for a lunch at Auberge de Soleil.  I am sad to say that we forgot to take pictures of the incredible views, but probably cause we were immersed in the fabulous food and fantastic company.

Our last stop of the day was Domaine Carneros. A sparkling wine vineyard.

We ended the tour with some inspiring words...
"Wine is the constant proof that God loves us and loves to see us happy"

Thanks again Summer and Becky for sharing your pictures!!!!

Catch up

Amazing how life just flies by and how it takes me forever to update this blog. I still have easter pictures I could have posted, but since that was a month ago and so many other fun things have happened since then I decided to stick with the Month of May. Mother's Day came and went. I got my first ever homemade mom's present from Brooklyn

What's more special about this year was that I got to spend it with Mom since she was in town visiting...
I had to seperate my blog entries since there were so many pictures and events over the past week to include so make sure to keep scrolling down to catch up!

Fairies and Pirates.

We celebrated Brooklyn's 4th birthday this weekend.  Tinkerbell style, but with a hint of Pirate action to make our "boyfriends" happy.  Didn't want them to feel left out.  Although I think Brooklyn and Alexis may have been a little more intro the pirate things then the fairies.

 A rare moment.......precious and rare....

Saved Dyllon to hit the pinata last since we knew there would be a better success rate !
 See....Success!
Brooklyn couldnt wait to tear into her cake.
 Sheasus....busted....thought it was her birthday!

IS this not the BEST tinkerbell cake ever?!

And back to the Bounce house!!!
One of our favorite People!  Miss Ericka....I think she loves my kids more then us sometimes....we couldn't be any more blessed to have her in our lives!

 Fairies....winding down....
