Let the Celebrations begin!

My mom came for a short weekend visit on Friday night. She left earlier today and despite the very short trip we were able to accomplish plenty! I love when my mom is In town. Friday night we picked her up and went to dinner at a yummy Vietnamese pho restaurant. On Saturday my mom carved a pumpkin with the girls.... I woke up to this beauty....

Gosh she's good! Puts me to shame....I'm not going to even attempt pumpkin carving next year. After that we headed to lunch and then took the kids to a mini carnival close to the house.

After the fun at the carnival we headed shopping. Doing what mom and I do best. Teaching my kids early! My mom bought me my birthday present while we were out.

My parents are the best! What girl doesn't just love a new purse?!

Afterwards we headed for some teppanyaki dinner.

It was a wonderful day and of course her trip had to end. The girls miss their Memaw! They have been quite lucky the past couple months and got to see Memaw and Pepaw 3 different times!

Holiday Decor

I never used to decorate the outside of the house for the holidays. But the kids have since convinced us it was time. So this is the extent of our Halloween decor.

Happy Halloween from the Stephensons. We're officially scary certified according to my 4 year old.

Stephenson Annual Tradition.

One tradition we've stayed true to keeping is joining the thousands of people on a early Sunday morning in Oct every year in Downtown Phoenix. We join the cause and fight against Breast Cancer. This year we started off with a stop to Dunkin Donuts.

Lined up and ready to walk the 5k

A 9 year tradition for Brett and me.

The one thing that mAy break our tradition would be a cure against Breast Cancer.

When....oh.... When

...did this happen!?!

I see her all day long everyday and it wasn't until I took this picture and thought she's grown from my baby girl to little girl nearly overnite.

Lost in a sea of Green and Gold

Our wonderful friends and travel companions, the Mitchells,  invited us this year to go with them on their annual trip to Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Hold your breath.......

Brett and I joined them  at a  Packer Game in which the opposing team was not...

1) Chicago Bears or
2) Minnesota Vikings

EKKK!

We went to a Packer vs Saints game.

Regardless of the opponent it was a FANTABULOUS time!  Check that off our Bucket list (really Brett's) Both Becky and Scott were in their own Heaven and I can appreciate why.  Green Bay is really a fantastic town.  I'd be honored to go back again soon.  There was Packer Pride everywhere...which made me uncomfortable at times, but I was still able to enjoy myself and the company I was with.

After they were robbed the week before from a win due to horrible ref's.  I only thought it was fair to somewhat support them to a victory by wearing my gold scarf.

Packer Win! and a Happy Mitchell Family!
