San Diego

We have taken many trips to San Diego as a family and I can honestly say that as the girls get older it definitely gets more enjoyable.  With our only agenda really being a wedding it was a very relaxing getaway.  We played at the beach.  Had a last minute decision to wake up and spend the day in legoland and had many nice meals.

Staying Cool

Summer months are completely miserable due to the extreme heat here in AZ.  In order to help keep cool and sane we're often found in the pool, escaping to cooler temps else where, or our new favorite find.... The Phoenix Children's museum!

Brooklyn Turns 5 (back in May)

Brooklyns Birthday was a wonderful celebration.  Mommy and Her go our nails done, treated ourselves to Starbucks coffee and cinnamon rolls, had lunch with her sister at a local familiy favorite and then celebrated the afternoon along with her PreSchool graduation from Wonderwise.

It was also Alexis' last day of preshool and she will definitely miss her first teacher ever, Ms Tina
Afterwards we headed to dinner at the Cheescake Factory, Brooklyns pick and then surprised them with a trip to the airport to pick up their Pepaw Pike!  of course the next day included the obligatory teppanyaki dinner whenever he is in town....another family favorite!
The weekend we had her birthday celebration with a few of her favorite friends at Girly Girlz.  A local speciality store specializing in everything and anything Girly.  Brooklyn picked a princess themed tea party.  She chose to be Jasmine, her current favorite Disney Princess.

Kudos to me for posting a new entry!  I WILL catch up one day!
